Smart Apartments A First For Auckland

KosmopolisNew homes are getting smarter and the latest apartment development called the Kosmopolis by Chateau Management Group offers systems and appliances controlled by your mobile.

Do you want to be able to turn on your oven for that roast while you’re at the office, control heating and lighting and even unlock your door?  Using the  latest technology in these apartments puts them a step ahead of other apartment developments.

The Kosmopolis is a $30 million, 25 apartment project in Grafton and will be built on top of the Red Elephant Thai Restaurant.

According to NZHerald the apartments will start from $599,000 which is a $100,000 more than other new apartment developments however the added smarts will attract buyers.

Other systems controlled by smartphones are climate controls, video surveillance and media devices.  If not available now, mobile controls for vacuuming and other cleaning tasks are sure online in the near future.
